It is difficult meet that person
If there is someone like that somewhere
That person is more beautiful than all
Grab onto that (person’s) hand
He or she may not be so gracious tomorrow

Muadh Ibn Jabal (radiAllahu anhu)

“My son, when you pray, do it like a person who is bidding farewell to this world, and don’t assume you will have another chance to pray again. My son, know that a believer dies in between two deeds, one he offers for today, where he will get immediate blessings, and the second deed is what he offers towards the day of resurrection, and that is where he will gain the ultimate benefits.”

Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah Rahimullah.

“When you fast, then let your hearing, sight and tongue fast and abstain from lies and haraam things, and refrain from harming your neighbour. Be tranquil and dignified on the day when you fast, and do not let the day when you fast and the day when you do not fast be the same. ”

The Prophet (SAW) sent a small army unit. When it returned, the men said to the Prophet (SAW),

"Oh Messenger of Allah! The man whom you appointed our commander, recited only this Surah =which was surah ikhlas- after recitation in every rakah of every prayer."

When the Prophet (SAW) asked the man about the reason, he said,

"This Surah has the Attributes of Allah and I love to recite it." The Prophet (SAW) sent him the glad tidings that 'Allah also loves him.'

(Ibn Majah, 3989)

“Allah loves the righteous, pious, inconspicuous people. When they are absent they are not missed. When they are present they are not called out or noticed. Their hearts are lamps of guidance. They emerge from every place of darkness.”

(Abu Dawud, 4941; Tirmidhi, 1924)

“The merciful people will be shown mercy by the All Merciful; be merciful to those on earth and the One in heaven will be merciful to you”

Abstaining from sins is a Mercy from Allah

“……Were it not for the grace of Allah and His mercy you would have followed Satan,

with scant exception (4:83).”

(Abu Dawud, 4941; Tirmidhi, 1924)

THE ATTITUDE OF A TRUE MUSLIMAH TOWARDS HER LORD

• She has deep faith in Allah swt and willingly submits to His will and decree
• She worships Him sincerely, obeying all His commands and heeding all His prohibitions
• She understands what it means to be a true servant of Allah
• She constantly strives to support His religion and to make His word supreme on earth
• She is proud of her Muslim identity, which draws its strength from her understanding of the purpose of human existence in this life, as defined by Allah swt in the Quran:

“I have only created jinns and men, that they should worship Me Alone.” [51:56]
